Title IX: Non-Discrimination Notice

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) provides that “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.” 20 U.S.C. §1681(a). The System’s Title IX Policy defines sexual harassment and outlines the policies and procedures that the System follows in identifying, investigating, and responding to allegations of sexual harassment.
