Reminders

ACS requires sixth-grade students to provide an up-to-date Certificate of Immunization reflecting the Tdap booster vaccine. All students entering the sixth grade must receive the Tdap vaccine on or after their 11th birthday per Alabama State Law. This vaccine protects adolescents from pertussis (more commonly known as whooping cough) and significantly helps to prevent the spread of the disease to others with weakened immune systems. A current Certificate of Immunization or an official Certificate of Exemption from the Alabama Department of Public Health must be submitted to the Centralized Registration Department prior to the start of school. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Centralized Registration Department at (334) 365-5706 ext. 2002.
All returning students! There's still time to get a jumpstart on next year's first-day forms by completing 2026-2027 returning student forms online in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you need any help with the process, devices, or internet connectivity, please contact the district's Centralized Registration Department. Or better yet, stop by and see them at 358 First Street in Prattville from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m
Attendance is a priority! Any student who has not come to school by August 13 will be withdrawn from the district - meaning that teacher assignments and schedules are dropped. Once a student is withdrawn, the parent must re-enroll the child through the district's Centralized Registration Department.
